Repurposed Liquor Bottles

reglassifly™ Uses Waste to Craft New and Ethical Glassware Products

reglassifly™ is a San Clemente-based upcycling company that repurposes discarded glass liquor bottles into a range of home goods. reglassifly™ partners with local restaurants and hotels to source items like glassware, candles, diffusers, and vases, which are transformed into new products, polished and primed before resale.

The company is advancing its circular economy efforts by experimenting with fused-glass products made from crushed bottles supplied by The Ranch at Laguna Beach. Already repurposing glass for uses such as golf course bunkers, the hotel partnered with the founders, the Kooper brothers, to explore higher-value, design-driven applications for the material.

Several reglassifly™ pieces have since completed a closed-loop journey, now featured as drinkware at a restaurant in River Street Marketplace in San Juan Capistrano and as decorative and retail items at The Ranch at Laguna Beach.
