Saica Group has launched a new adhesive tape made entirely from recycled paper fibers, strengthening its position in sustainable packaging and circular manufacturing.

The product was developed through collaboration between Saica Flex and Saica Paper, creating a fully integrated, closed-loop solution within the company’s own operations. Recycled fibers produced by Saica Paper are converted into adhesive tape by Saica Flex and then used to secure Saica Paper’s own paper reels.

The tape is engineered to bond securely to paper and cardboard surfaces. It is self-adhesive and linerless, allowing for smooth unwinding and overlapping during application.

Unlike many conventional tapes that cannot be repulped during recycling, this recycled paper tape can move through standard paper recycling streams. That eliminates the need for non-recyclable alternatives and helps manufacturers improve the sustainability profile of their packaging.
