Recycled Snack Wrappers

PureCycle Technologies and Toppan have partnered to create more sustainable packaging for the food industry. Their collaboration produced a snack bar wrapper containing over 30% recycled content, made with PureCycle’s PureFive resin.

The wrapper maintains the print quality, durability, and functionality required by snack brands while lowering environmental impact. PureCycle’s proprietary process uses dissolution technology to convert post-consumer polypropylene into a high-quality resin that performs like virgin material.

For manufacturers and retailers, the solution is food-safe, compatible with existing production lines, and offers a practical path to meet growing consumer and regulatory demand for sustainable packaging without compromising product quality.
