Weekapaug Inn is hosting a distinctive sustainable seafood event in collaboration with the nonprofit Eating with the Ecosystem. This partnership will offer guests an immersive culinary experience that highlights the ecological diversity of New England's coastal waters.
Scheduled to commence on June 29th, the sustainable seafood event brings together three renowned chefs who will craft a four-course menu that showcases responsibly sourced local seafood. Each dish is consciously designed to reflect the interconnectedness of regional marine ecosystems. The Weekapaug Inn x Eating with the Ecosystem event begins with a waterfront cocktail reception overlooking Quonochontaug Pond. The evening will also deliver environmental education opportunities for attendees.
The historic Relais & Chateaux property provides an ideal setting for this event, with its longstanding connection to coastal Rhode Island's natural beauty and its own chef's garden supplying fresh ingredients.
