Toronto Climate Week is approaching, and Sustainalicious runs throughout it, inviting people in the city to explore flavorful, creative, climate-smart meals crafted by local chefs. Toronto is home to one of the world's most vibrant and authentic food scenes, and this event, presented by Toronto Climate Week and Eat for Impact, serves up specials like Pad Cha Hett, Sikil Pak, and Bruschetta al "Pollo Arrosto" for a taste of Thailand, Latin America, Italy, and beyond. As defined by Sustainalicious, "A climate-smart dish is one that produces fewer greenhouse gases, and uses less water and land. They typically feature more plants, legumes, and grains."

For those who prefer to cook or want to continue making an impact at home in their own kitchen, Sustainalicious also serves up chef-curated recipe ideas, along with roughly the amount of CO₂ saved. Collectively, Torontonians have alreadt logged more than 1,000 climate-smart meals by cooking and eating meals at participating restaurants, saving over 181 kilograms of CO₂e and 572,532 liters of water.
