The Great Closet Cleanout, a community-focused sustainable fashion event, is expanding its offerings to include men’s clothing as part of its upcoming edition. Scheduled for April 19 at The Laurel Packinghouse, the event continues to promote circular consumption by encouraging the reuse and resale of high-quality garments.

A new feature, the Men’s Pop-Up Patio, has been introduced to provide a dedicated space for men’s apparel, complementing the event’s existing selection of women’s clothing. This expansion reflects a broader effort to engage a more diverse audience in sustainable shopping practices and extend the lifecycle of clothing across categories.

The initiative emphasizes the environmental benefits of reusing textiles, including reducing landfill waste and minimizing the demand for new garment production. By facilitating the exchange of gently used clothing within the community, the event supports waste diversion while promoting more responsible consumption patterns and increased awareness of sustainable fashion practices.
