Sustainable Asphalt Materials

Verde unveiled ‘BioAsphalt™’ a new sustainable paving material made entirely from '100% Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP)' and enhanced with biochar to improve strength and durability. This innovative cold recycling mix offers an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional asphalt, reducing the need for new raw materials and cutting carbon emissions associated with road construction.

Tested by the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT), BioAsphalt™ "met and exceeded key performance standards for cold-recycled pavement; the material showed excellent durability, moisture resistance, and long-term stability, making it suitable for future road surface applications."

By transforming old asphalt into high-quality new pavement, BioAsphalt™ supports circular construction practices and lowers waste sent to landfills.
