Wasaga Beach is Set to Host the Love It Longer Clothing Swap
Kanesa D — April 16, 2026Wasaga Beach’s Love It Longer Clothing Swap is returning from May 8-10 at the RecPlex, offering residents a way to shop sustainably while supporting local youth programs.
The event gives pre-owned clothing a second life, helping to reduce textile waste—one of the fastest-growing contributors to landfill. This year, all proceeds will go toward funding a specialized jump training harness for the Wasaga Beach Figure Skating Club. The equipment is designed to help young skaters practice jumps more safely, build confidence, and improve their performance.
Attendees can choose from a wide range of gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories, including a new formalwear section timed for prom season, as well as a dedicated area for children’s clothing and toys. With a single entry fee, visitors are free to take as many items as they need.
