Bristow Norway AS Tested BETA Technologies' All-Electric ALIA CX300
Kalin Ned — September 26, 2025Bristow Norway AS, a subsidiary of Bristow Group Inc., and BETA Technologies partnered to assess a zero-emission aircraft in Norway under the Test Arena for Zero & Low Emission Aviation program. The trial began with the initial demonstration flight of the ALIA CX300, a fully electric conventional take-off and landing aircraft developed by BETA Technologies.
The Test Arena for Zero & Low Emission Aviation program is a joint effort involving the operator Bristow Norway AS, the airport authority Avinor, and the national civil aviation authority. The core activity will involve a multi-month series of evaluation flights along potential commercial routes, beginning with a connection between Stavanger and Bergen. The objective is to gather practical data on the integration of zero-emission aircraft operating within the existing aviation ecosystem.
