AI-Era Emissions Control Systems
EES Developed DeNOx Systems for Data Center Infrastructure
mursal rahman — May 28, 2026AI-era emissions control systems are becoming increasingly important as data centers and energy-intensive digital infrastructure drive demand for flexible power generation. Environmental Energy Services (EES) recently expanded deployment of its LIMitNOx™ Selective Catalytic Reduction technology, designed to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions from turbines and internal combustion engines used in industrial facilities and distributed power systems. The system uses CFD-driven design methods and optimized injection technologies to improve emissions reduction performance while lowering reagent use and operational costs.
The technology reflects growing pressure on operators to balance rising electricity demand with stricter environmental regulations and operational efficiency targets. As AI expansion accelerates energy consumption, many facilities are relying on backup turbines and decentralized power infrastructure to maintain reliable operations. Advanced emissions-control systems could help operators reduce environmental impact while supporting scalable power generation for industrial facilities, data centers, and distributed energy networks. The deployment also highlights how emissions optimization technologies are becoming a larger part of long-term infrastructure modernization strategies.
