The architecture firm Callaghan Horiuchi has completed the one-year anniversary of a 40,000-square-foot corporate office designed for Arvest Bank. Located in Bentonville, Arkansas, the project was conceived to transition the financial institution's identity towards a more contemporary, technology-focused image and to function as a versatile environment for a hybrid workforce.

Callaghan Horiuchi's design strategy was informed by an analysis of employee work patterns, resulting in a layout divided into specialized zones dedicated to specific activities such as team collaboration, individual concentration, and social interaction. A central principle guiding the interior scheme is biophilia. This inspiration is manifested through ample natural light, a large number of indoor plants, and material selections including organic-textured carpets and wood. The space also integrates various acoustic treatments and employs sustainable materials, such as recycled fabrics and locally sourced millwork, to reduce environmental impact.
