Residential Landscape Architecture Projects
Hana Eto Gall Landscape Develops a Lush Aesthetic
Kalin Ned — October 25, 2025Hana Eto Gall Landscape recently completed a residential landscape architecture project in Manaus, Brazil. The design for the Pupunha House is characterized by its intentional fusion of the built environment with the adjacent Amazon rainforest. Hana Eto Gall Landscape aimed to diminish the visual and experiential separation between the domestic structure and the natural world.
The residential landscape project is distinguished by treating the garden as a central feature. Inhabitants and visitors are guided through a sequence of sensory engagements beginning with a pathway enveloped by dense tropical plants, which serve to establish a distinct microclimate. This integration continues within the residence itself, where vegetation is woven into the architectural layout.
Throughout the implementation of the project, Hana Eto Gall Landscape emphasized ecological responsibility through methods such as automated irrigation and a strategic approach to planting that prioritizes the use of native species.
