Benzene Air Monitors

Aeroqual Adds 15-Minute Benzene Detection to Its Air Monitors

Aeroqual has expanded its benzene air monitors with a new detection module that provides frequent measurements of hazardous airborne chemicals. Available for the AQS 1 and AQM 65 systems, the technology helps industrial operators identify potential pollution sources without relying on laboratory testing that can delay results for days or weeks.

The module measures benzene concentrations every 15 minutes, covering a range of 0–100 parts per billion with sub-ppb sensitivity. Its carrier-gas-free design eliminates the need for a separate gas supply during measurement. Through Aeroqual Cloud, users can examine pollutant levels alongside weather conditions and wind patterns to better understand where emissions originate.

For industrial facilities and environmental consultants, faster access to monitoring data could improve investigation efficiency and support regulatory reporting. The expanded capabilities also give Aeroqual opportunities to serve customers managing industrial sites, landfills, and urban air quality programs.
