C.P. Vietnam & FPT Partnered on Their AI for Vietnam Agri-Food Chains

C.P. Vietnam and FPT Corporation signed an MOU to deploy AI and digital solutions across C.P. Vietnam’s integrated Feed-Farm-Food value chain from 2026 to 2028. The AI agrifood smart farm Vietnam partnership covers smart cameras and AI vision, IIoT platforms, agentic AI for operational intelligence, food safety traceability and smart manufacturing. Pilot Smart Farm models are targeting approximately 20% reductions in operational costs while enabling full food safety traceability.
The initiative extends beyond C.P. Vietnam’s own operations, with FPT’s AI solutions reaching contract farmers nationwide and supporting Vietnam’s broader agricultural modernization goals.
As Southeast Asia’s agri-food sector faces growing pressure to modernize, C.P. Vietnam and FPT show how deploying AI across an integrated farm-to-food value chain can improve efficiency, strengthen traceability and create a scalable framework for wider agricultural transformation.
