Pet-Enriching Pill Packaging

Dong-A Pharmaceutical has announced an innovative and environmentally friendly solution for the pet care industry through its brand Vetple. The company recently confirmed that all Vetple nutritional supplements for dogs and cats will now be packaged using eco-conscious materials that also double as enrichment tools for pets.

The new packaging transforms what would typically be discarded into something purposeful. Each product case is crafted from pulp recycled from paper waste, while the outer band is made from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified materials, ensuring the paper is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Once the supplement is unpacked, pet owners can punch a hole in the case to convert it into a fun and stimulating toy for their pets. The packaging can be repurposed for "nose work" activities or as a food puzzle, encouraging mental engagement and slow feeding behaviors.
