Youth-Targeted Outdoor Programs

Pennsylvania will Host Eco-Art Programs

This summer, the Confluence Creative Arts Center in Pennsylvania will once again offer Eco-Art programs, combining environmental education with creative expression in an outdoor setting. Designed for youth participants, these day camp sessions aim to foster a deeper appreciation for nature through hands-on artistic activities and interactive learning.

The program will feature two separate sessions of outdoor day camps that integrate arts and crafts with foundational lessons in ecology and conservation. Participants will "explore Pennsylvania’s native plants, animals, and ecosystems while engaging in a wide range of artistic projects." Activities may include sculpting, painting, building structures, and incorporating natural materials into art-making processes.

By blending environmental education with creative exploration, the Eco-Art initiative encourages participants to develop both artistic skills and environmental awareness, promoting a meaningful connection between youth and the natural world.
