Bio-Based Wool Filters

Global air wellness brand Blueair partnered with Lanaco, a New Zealand-based wool technology company, to create EcoLast, a first-of-its-kind bio-based wool filter for air purifiers. Two years of material exploration, testing and refining went into engineering this bio-based, USDA-certified wool filter so that it adheres to the performance demands people expect while using a biodegradable alternative free from harmful chemicals and microplastics.

Beyond being notable for being made of real wool and 100% USDA Certified Biobased material, the EcoLast Wool Filter—designed for the Blue Pure 211i Max air purifier—boasts a 50% longer lifetime than regular filters, offering a remarkable 18-month lifetime so that consumers don't have to replace their air purifier filter as often to effectively remove 99.97% airborne particles and capture allergens such as dust, pollen, and pet dander.
