TCL Incorporates ESG Principles in its Global Operations

TCL integrates ESG principles into its global operations to drive sustainability and reduce environmental impact. The company focuses on lowering carbon emissions, improving energy efficiency, and promoting responsible practices across its entire value chain. During a United Nations Global Compact discussion, Chairman Li Dongsheng highlighted how TCL is advancing low-carbon transformation through innovation in manufacturing and product design.
In 2024, "TCL CSOT implemented energy-saving measures that reduced electricity use by approximately 220,000 MWh. The company is also developing a printed OLED production line designed to consume less energy than traditional methods, helping reduce emissions at the source." On the product side, TCL continues to design energy-efficient solutions, such as its award-winning FreshIN air conditioner, which lowers overall carbon footprint.
Beyond its own operations, TCL encourages suppliers and partners to adopt ESG standards, supporting more sustainable practices across industries and contributing to the global transition toward clean energy.
