Panasonic’s ECO RELAY is a global corporate social responsibility initiative under the Panasonic GREEN IMPACT program that mobilizes employees in community-based environmental activities. ECO RELAY encourages volunteer efforts such as river and beach clean-ups, woodland conservation, tree planting and climate education. The program aligns with Panasonic’s founding principle of improving life through business and aims to foster environmental stewardship among employees while contributing tangible benefits to local ecosystems.

Since its inception, ECO RELAY has engaged thousands of participants across multiple regions. In North America, over 40 employees joined a park clean-up in New Jersey ahead of Earth Day, removing 600 pounds of trash and planting trees. Panasonic Taiwan companies have involved 5,933 volunteers in coastal clean-ups that collected more than 22 tons of debris and 4,910 participants in tree-planting events that established 21,800 trees. In the UAE, 64 Panasonic staff and family members removed 175 kilograms of waste and planted 170 mangrove seedlings at Al Zorah Nature Reserve, supporting national goals to restore coastal habitats. These activities underscore Panasonic’s commitment to sustainable impact and employee engagement on a global scale.
