GAC Energy Released its 2025 Report
Debra John — January 20, 2026GAC Energy released its '2025 Ecological Service Report,' outlining progress in expanding low-carbon electric vehicle charging infrastructure and supporting the transition to cleaner mobility. Guided by the GAC Group’s '2⁶ Energy Action' strategy, the company advanced a vertically integrated new energy vehicle ecosystem designed to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency.
By the end of 2025, GAC Energy "operated more than 23,000 self-operated charging piles across 31 provinces and 211 cities, serving nearly 9 million users and delivering 1.43 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity." This extensive network supports the displacement of fossil fuel vehicles and enables broader EV adoption.
Additionally, upgrades to ultra-fast, 1000V high-voltage charging technology improved charging efficiency while reducing grid strain. The introduction of an AI-enabled smart management platform further enhanced system reliability and energy optimization, increasing equipment availability and supporting more stable, efficient use of clean electricity nationwide.
