Cryptocurrency-Focused Sustainable Infrastructures

Soluna Holdings has significantly expanded its collaboration with Galaxy Digital through a new 48-megawatt deployment at its Texas-based Project Kati 1 data center facility. The strategic partnership involves relocating Galaxy Digital's bitcoin mining operations from the Helios campus to Soluna's renewable energy-powered facility. This move will bring Project Kati 1 to its full 83 MW capacity while demonstrating the growing demand for sustainable computing infrastructure in the cryptocurrency sector.

The agreement between Soluna Holdings and Galaxy Digital builds upon an existing financial relationship between the companies that is now transitioning into operational cooperation. This expansion reflects broader industry trends as cryptocurrency mining operations increasingly seek environmentally conscious hosting solutions and existing facilities repurpose assets for emerging technologies like AI and high-performance computing.

The anticipated launch of this collaboration is early 2026.
