Gray Whale Spirits Has Partnered With Surfrider to Clean Up Plastics

Gray Whale Spirits has launched Gray Whale Vodka, a small-batch spirit distilled from California grapes and grain, priced at $29.99, marking the brand's first category expansion beyond its celebrated gin. The Gray Whale Vodka is made without additives or added sugar, with California-grown grapes contributing a silky texture and natural sweetness to the profile.
Alongside the launch, Gray Whale announced a partnership with the Surfrider Foundation to remove more than 750,000 pounds of coastal trash and plastic from US shorelines over three years through community beach cleanups. Since 2016, as a 1% for the Planet member, the brand has contributed at least 1% of annual revenue to environmental organizations.
Gray Whale shows how entering a new category with a conservation commitment already in place can make a product launch feel like a cause worth getting behind.
