Kohler Co. has expanded its WasteLAB collection with the introduction of the DemiLav — a handcrafted lavatory that embodies the brand's commitment to sustainable material innovation.

Each sink in the WasteLAB DemiLav capsule is composed of at least 70% recycled materials sourced directly from the company's own manufacturing waste streams. This approach serves to transform industrial byproducts into refined, functional art pieces. Kohler's DemiLav features a distinctive contemporary silhouette with delicately sloping lines and a squared-off profile. Its shallow basin creates a sculptural presence that distinguishes it from conventional sink designs, while its demi-scale footprint offers versatility for both compact and statement bathroom spaces.

Skilled artisans produce each handcrafted lavatory piece in small batches. They shape, cast, and finish the design manually, which means that the products vary in tone, texture, and surface.
