Hoymiles is simplifying residential energy resilience with its new HiSwitch and HiBox gateway solutions, designed to work alongside the HiOne All-in-One Battery Energy Storage System. HiSwitch combines a transfer switch, circuit breaker, meter, bypass switch and CT into one compact device, reducing components, cabling and installation requirements. HiBox provides centralized energy management while supporting additional inverters, compatible generators and solar systems as household energy needs grow. Smart load controls also help prioritize available power during backup operation.

For energy storage providers and installers, the systems could reduce installation complexity, maintenance costs and service downtime. HiSwitch can be replaced independently in the event of a fault, cutting replacement time by up to 80%. The expandable architecture also gives homeowners greater flexibility to increase backup capacity without replacing their entire energy ecosystem.
