Business-Focused Energy Storage Systems
Sungrow Has Debuted the New PowerKeeper Series
Kalin Ned — December 1, 2025Sungrow has introduced a new energy storage system tailored for business and industrial applications — the PowerKeeper Series. This technology was debuted during the Sungrow European C&I ESS Summit in Italy.
The PowerKeeper Series is structured around a modular, DC-coupled architecture with a foundational unit of 12.5 kilowatt-hours. This allows for scalable configurations from 50 to 1000 kilowatt-hours to suit various operational sizes. The technology's design philosophy emphasizes operational resilience, financial efficiency, and simplified installation. Key technical specifications include a rapid transition to backup power within 10 milliseconds, a high degree of protection against environmental factors like water ingress and extreme temperatures, and integrated artificial intelligence designed to optimize energy cost savings based on real-time pricing and consumption data.
Business operators contending with volatile and rising electricity prices would be attracted to the system’s AI-driven energy management, which promises to automate cost reduction through strategies like price arbitrage and demand charge minimization, directly impacting operational expenses.
