Tigo Energy Shipped Its GO Battery Storage System to Europe
Adam Harrie — June 18, 2026Tigo Energy began shipping its GO Battery as part of the GO Optimized ESS to European customers, marking the rollout of a new residential solar battery storage system built on modular 3.68kWh units and configurable from 7.3kWh to 47.9kWh. The system supports both single- and three-phase configurations, operates at temperatures as low as -30°C and is backward-compatible with all Tigo inverters sold in Europe.
The GO Battery integrates with Tigo's broader ecosystem, including its EI Inverter, EV charger and heat pump junction, providing installers with a connected platform spanning solar generation, storage and home energy management. Weiss-Blau GmbH became one of the first installers to deploy the system in the European residential market, supported by Tigo's installer training and onboarding programs.
Tigo's launch shows how modular battery storage systems are helping make residential solar installations more flexible, scalable and resilient.
