Scalable Circular Solutions

Light House Produces the New InfinaNet Product Alongside its Partners

Light House has completed the first production run of its InfinaNet system using plastics recovered from construction sites. The milestone was achieved through the Vancouver-based businesses' Construction Plastics Initiative (CPI), in collaboration with Infina Technologies and Plascon Plastics.

CPI was established to address the low economic value of construction plastic waste by improving on-site tracking and piloting systems to separate, collect, and reprocess materials into new applications.

InfinaNet is a voided concrete solution for floor slabs and wall systems in multi-unit residential buildings. By incorporating a lattice of ellipsoid voids, the system reduces non-structural concrete, cutting material usage by up to 30%. This results in lower embodied carbon and construction costs, while enhancing installation efficiency and accelerating project timelines.
