Leafy Confessional Campaigns

Little Leaf Farms' Lettuce Confessions Helps to Reduce Food Waste

For National Salad Month, Little Leaf Farms launched the Lettuce Confessions campaign, to get people to admit to their "lettuce sins," pledge to switch to its brand of fresher, longer-lasting greens, and enter for a chance to win a year's supply of crisp lettuce and a $2,500 grocery gift card.

People often buy lettuce with good intentions, only to forget it’s in the fridge until it starts to wilt. Sometimes it spoils quickly, or they realize they liked the idea of eating salad more than actually making and eating one. With this judgment-free campaign, Little Leaf Farms wants people to come clean, and discover its offerings designed to stay crisp and fresh, and taste great.

For every lettuce confession submitted, Little Leaf Farms will donate $1 to ReFED, a nonprofit advancing solutions to food waste, up to $10,000.
