Sustainable Mexican Tire Debuts

Michelin is introducing its Primacy 5 tire to the Mexican market, offering a product that champions environmental sustainability and reduced impact. The Primacy 5 tire is primarily designed for sedans and SUVs and comes in 35 unique sizes for various vehicles, with plans for 25 more to come in mid-2026. With an 18% longer lifespan, an additional 12,000 kilometers of service life, and improved rolling resistance, fuel and energy consumption, the Primacy 5 is more efficient and more conscious of consumer demands.

The Primacy 5 has an optimized block and sipe placement and also effectively reduces interior and exterior noise while ensuring a smooth, comfortable ride. With this launch, Michelin aims to align with a consumer desire for ethical automobile products.
