Conscious Towel Constructions

Nandan Terry Introduced an Eco-Friendly, Zero-Twist Towel Model

After more than two years of research and development, Nandan Terry has unveiled Comberlite, a new towel construction engineered to deliver premium softness and performance without relying on conventional processing agents such as PVA and Solucell.

The Comberlite platform leverages an advanced fiber spinning technology to create a zero-twist yarn structure, resulting in a towel that is both lightweight and exceptionally lofty. At 600 gsm, the product is designed to balance absorbency and durability with a soft, plush hand feel. The construction can be adapted across multiple formats, including solid shades, piece-dyed and yarn-dyed applications.

Targeted at premium-priced labels, the collection also underscores Nandan Terry’s broader sustainability focus. Complementing the Comberlite line is Natura, an extra-plush towel offering that is non-bleached and produced using all-natural inputs, appealing to environmentally conscious consumers seeking minimally processed textiles.

The debut collection is crafted from HC-32 Indian cotton, a long-staple variety known for its strength and softness.
