Electronic Waste-Crafted Tables

Joe Doucet Designs the OLO Table Using Discarded Electronics

Joe Doucet has designed the new OLO table, which is a minimal design with a thought-provoking aesthetic. This time, it has a sustainability approach as he created the table using discarded electronic waste from old refrigerators, computer accessories, and keyboards.

The material at the core of the OLO table is Polygood Oyster, which is a testament of the power of recycling. This material is intricately made from polystyrene, carefully collected from a wide range of electronic waste. Once it is arrested, the polystyrene goes through a process of thermoforming. This is when heat and pressure are carefully applied to shape it into its desired form -- this is what makes up the base of the OLO table.
