Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran Group) plans to develop Ras Al Shajar, a large-scale eco-tourism project in the Qurayat region. The 3.4-square-kilometer site spans both mountain and coastal landscapes.

Ras Al Shajar will include eco-friendly visitor infrastructure, including a wildlife-viewing Sky Tower, an immersive nature-experience center, and a sustainable hospitality and adventure park. Planned attractions include guided 4x4 tours, electric self-drive vehicles, hiking and cycling trails, premium wildlife encounters, and educational exhibits.

An upgraded arrival center will support ticketing, retail, and learning activities, creating multiple revenue streams and a fully integrated visitor experience.

The project will mainly feature a signature viewing tower with an 81-square-metre deck, offering panoramic views of wildlife in their natural habitat. It will also include a 250-square-metre Nature Sanctuary Experience Centre with interactive exhibits focused on local plant and animal life.
