Sustainable Cocoa Milestones

Lindt & Sprüngli announced that 100% of its cocoa is now sourced under Rainforest Alliance cocoa certification through its Lindt & Sprüngli Farming Program, with the certification seal rolling out progressively across product packaging. The Rainforest Alliance standard assesses farming practices across social, environmental and economic dimensions, including working conditions, pest management and ecosystem conservation.

Beyond certification, Lindt & Sprüngli continues to invest in agroforestry, forest protection and restoration, and community development initiatives. The company's Living Income Pilot Program aims to help close the income gap for participating cocoa farmers, building on a Farming Program that has served as its responsible sourcing standard since 2008.

Lindt & Sprüngli's milestone shows how legacy food brands are moving beyond voluntary commitments toward certified, traceable supply chains across core ingredients.
