PulPac and Other Partners Design Plastic-Free Packaging for Snus Cans
Kanesa D — March 19, 2026Responsible packaging brand PulPac, in collaboration with Future Materials Sweden and Yoik AB, has developed a dry-molded fiber snus can for Yoik’s Helwit line, marking the brand’s entry into a market historically dominated by plastic packaging.
Designed for high-volume production, the fiber-based can delivers durability, consistent fit, and a premium tactile experience. The product is currently undergoing validation and trial runs on Yoik’s filling line, and if successful, it may be integrated into the brand's packaging scheme.
Concurrently, Future Materials has secured a licensing agreement with PulPac to commercialize dry-molded fiber solutions, with plans to industrialize, scale production, and optimize tooling to support full-scale manufacturing once validation milestones are met.
