Lenovo Has Become a Member of the Coalition for Sustainable AI

The Coalition for Sustainable AI is an initiative spearheaded by the French government in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Programme and the International Telecommunication Union. This coalition unites various international entities, including technology firms such as AMD and NVIDIA, with the shared objective of ensuring that the progression of artificial intelligence is consistent with global environmental targets and responsible practices. Lenovo recently also joined the Coalition for Sustainable AI.
As a participant, Lenovo will engage with an innovation hub dedicated to developing scientific advancements, establishing standards, and creating solutions that harmonize AI growth with ecological preservation. This membership aligns with the company's previously announced commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and its efforts to enhance the energy efficiency of its server products. The company also highlights its proprietary Neptune™ direct water-cooling technology as a contribution to more sustainable data center operations.
