Meat-Matching Cultivated Meats
TissenBioFarm Cultivated Meat Debuted a Denser Product
Michael Hemsworth — January 5, 2026This new TissenBioFarm cultivated meat has been announced by the South Korea-based cellular agriculture brand as a meat-matching solution that could help to revolutionize the industry. The cultivated meat is reported to have a cell density that matches or exceeds that of conventional meat, which comes as a first for the industry. The product responds to the limitation that many cultivated meat producers have experienced: meats that aren't quite the same as conventional meat in their structure of cellular characteristics.
The new TissenBioFarm cultivated meat can reportedly match the cell density of such beef cuts as ribeye and, in some cases, contains more than twice the cell count of conventional meat. This is achieved through the control of the initial cell density conditions early on in the cultivation process.
