Emerald Ecovations has introduced a tree-free CPG board designed to reduce reliance on virgin forest resources while meeting performance requirements for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food packaging, and other consumer goods applications. The material is manufactured using a proprietary blend of agricultural byproducts, including bagasse, combined with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified fibers, supporting responsible sourcing and circular material use.

The Tree-Free CPG Board is "engineered without the intentional addition of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and is designed to be compostable, contributing to lower environmental impact across its lifecycle." By replacing conventional paperboard derived from virgin trees, the product supports deforestation mitigation, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and improved end-of-life outcomes.

The introduction of this packaging solution reflects increasing regulatory, brand, and consumer demand for materials that align with sustainability, waste reduction, and environmental stewardship goals across global consumer packaged goods supply chains.
