Eco-Friendly Upcycled Raisins

Upcycled Foods, Inc. (UP, Inc) and The Wine RayZyn Company announced a partnership for upcycled raisins as a way to support food manufacturers with a decidedly sustainable dried fruit option for recipes. The ingredient is crafted from unharvested wine grapes in three whole raisin varieties, which maintain the skin, flesh and seeds of the wine grapes to prioritize a flavorful and decidedly healthful profile. The raisins are reportedly packed with more antioxidants, fiber and polyphenols than traditional raisins, and come in the CabernayZyn, MerlayZyn and ChardonayZyn varieties that are each targeted towards different applications.
