PlanetWEST Tackles Air Pollution and Climate Change

PlanetWEST has introduced a new tech-advanced carbon capture system that is intended to improve urban air quality. Deployed in metropolitan areas in the Gulf States region, this innovation is dubbed MIDAC, which stands for Micro-Intelligent Direct Air Capture. The most significant driver for implementing this technology is the potential to directly confront severe public health crises linked to poor air quality
PlanetWEST's groundbreaking carbon capture system functions as a mobile device that connects to a vehicle's cooling system to filter ambient air. It captures solid carbon-based particulate matter, including black carbon, rather than gaseous emissions. The captured pollutants are collected within the unit for later removal and disposal. PlanetWEST maintains that targeting these specific particulates can yield a more immediate effect on mitigating local warming and addressing health concerns related to air pollution.
