Automated Agricultural Warehouses

AGCO Modernizes Parts Distribution with Advanced Automation

AGCO is advancing automated agricultural warehouses with a new 115,000-square-foot Parts Distribution Center in Visalia, California. The facility more than doubles the company’s West Coast parts capacity while incorporating advanced warehouse automation, vertical lift modules, high-density racking and specialized material-handling equipment. Smarter forecasting and expanded local inventory are designed to keep high-demand agricultural parts closer to dealers and farmers, helping accelerate delivery times across the western United States.

The facility also incorporates rooftop solar power and electric vehicle charging stations alongside digital infrastructure designed to support future growth. From a business perspective, combining automation with greater regional inventory could help AGCO reduce fulfillment delays and improve service during time-sensitive farming operations. The expanded center also supports the company’s growing e-commerce operations, demonstrating how agricultural equipment companies can modernize distribution networks to increase efficiency, responsiveness and long-term capacity.
