Landmark Agrivoltaic Projects

GCL System Integration has supplied its solar energy technology for a large-scale agrivoltaic project in Germany. This initiative is noteworthy because it combines electricity generation with agricultural activity on the same land.

This agrivoltaic installation utilizes over 140,000 of the company's bifacial solar panels, which are designed to allow a customizable amount of sunlight to pass through to the crops growing beneath them. The supporting structure for the panels is elevated to enable farm machinery to operate below, and the entire system is managed by an intelligent platform that uses data to optimize both energy output and agricultural yield.

GCL System Integration highlights that its in-house manufacturing and project management capabilities contribute to reduced costs and shorter construction times. The landmark agrivoltaic project is presented as a model that can be replicated, with the company planning further expansion of such initiatives in other regions.
