X-ELIO has commenced operations at a new hybrid power generation facility in Texas, known as the Liberty Energy Project. This installation integrates solar energy production with a large-scale battery storage system and is the company's first venture of this kind within the United States.

The Liberty Energy Project features a 72-megawatt solar array coupled with a 60-megawatt battery energy storage system. The primary function of the project is to supply electricity under a long-term agreement to a major industrial manufacturing complex operated by BASF. A significant aspect of this arrangement is that it is projected to cover the entire electrical demand for the BASF facility with renewable power, marking a substantial step towards the chemical company's broader environmental objectives. The development also includes initiatives aimed at benefiting the local community, such as the creation of public spaces and support for local organizations.
