Aurora Solar Launched Its No-Contact Solar Estimate Platform

Aurora Solar introduced the 'Aurora Solar Marketplace,' allowing homeowners to receive personalized solar and storage estimates and compare local installers without providing a phone number. Built on the same platform used by more than 7,000 solar professionals and seven in 10 of the top U.S. solar contractors, the marketplace generates estimates based on a homeowner's actual roof and electricity usage rather than regional averages.
The platform addresses trust, which Aurora Solar's 2026 research identifies as the second-biggest barrier to going solar, behind cost. Homeowners can compare installers side by side based on long-term savings, system size, equipment and financing. Aurora Solar does not rank, endorse or hide any options, and homeowners can contact an installer only when they are ready.
Aurora Solar's marketplace signals that removing sales pressure and adding transparent, personalized data could help convert broader consumer interest into actual residential solar adoption.
