Turkey's Club Marvy Focuses on Responsible Eco-Friendly Operations

Club Marvy in Turkey has been awarded Gold for its innovative approach to sustainable all-inclusive hospitality, emphasizing environmental care, local sourcing, and circular resource use. The resort’s philosophy centers on minimizing waste and supporting biodiversity while maintaining the comfort and quality expected from luxury stays.

A cornerstone of its environmental strategy is an advanced food waste management system. Instead of discarding leftovers, "bones and crumbs are repurposed to feed stray animals, and fruit and vegetable peels are reused to create sauces and condiments." This closed-loop process reduces landfill waste and supports animal welfare initiatives in surrounding communities.

The resort’s "on-site organic farm supplies much of its produce, and ingredients are sourced within a 100-kilometer radius, cutting transport emissions and supporting regional farmers." This integrated approach positions Club Marvy as a model for eco-conscious, community-driven hospitality.
