Tree-Free Packaging Boards

Emerald Ecovations introduced 'SUSTAIN,' a tree-free CPG packaging board made from bagasse, a rapidly renewable sugarcane byproduct, blended with FSC-certified fibers. It targets brands in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, and dry food packaging. The board delivers the same print surface and structural performance as conventional paperboard without relying on virgin trees and contains no added PFAS.

Available in both uncoated and coated options at 85 brightness, SUSTAIN is engineered for cartons, sleeves, and rigid packaging across a range of weights. The initial production run launched on a limited, first-come basis.

As consumer demand for cleaner packaging materials grows, Emerald Ecovations signals that renewable fiber innovation is giving CPG brands a practical, performance-ready path away from tree-dependent supply chains.
