Outdoor Rescue Teams

Dyrt and Ford Bronco have partnered to support volunteer search and rescue (SAR) teams that operate across the United States’ remote and environmentally sensitive landscapes. The collaboration aims to strengthen emergency response capabilities while promoting responsible outdoor recreation and the long-term stewardship of natural areas.

Through the Bronco Search and Rescue campaign, public donations are matched dollar-for-dollar by Ford Bronco, increasing available funding for essential equipment, training, and operational support. Volunteer SAR teams respond to approximately 50,000 wilderness emergencies annually, helping to ensure that hikers, campers, and off-road travelers can safely access public lands.

By improving rescue readiness and response efficiency, the initiative contributes to environmental protection efforts, as well-equipped teams are better positioned to manage incidents in ways that minimize ecological disruption. The partnership also includes educational content highlighting the role SAR volunteers play in preserving safe, sustainable access to America’s outdoor spaces while reinforcing a culture of environmental responsibility.
