Electric tourist coaches are set to transform sustainable travel in Fiji as Rosie Holidays unveils the nation’s first ocean-to-forest electric fleet. This initiative marks a major advancement in reducing tourism-related carbon emissions and supports Fiji’s national climate and sustainability goals.
Rosie Travel Group, a locally owned enterprise, has invested FJ$1.5 million in these zero-emission vehicles, which are engineered to lower environmental impact while offering efficient, quiet, and clean transportation. By replacing conventional diesel coaches, the electric fleet will significantly cut air and noise pollution, particularly in ecologically sensitive areas.
