Sustainable Yacht Fuel Deals

Emaar Hospitality and Lootah Biofuels to Supply Eco-Friendly Fuel

Emaar Hospitality Group, in partnership with Lootah Biofuels, has introduced sustainable yacht fuel at Dubai Marina Yacht Club and Creek Marina Yacht Club. This move positions DMYC and CMYC as early adopters of eco-friendly biofuel solutions for recreational vessels, highlighting Emaar’s hands-on approach to sustainability and supporting the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 objectives.

Through the partnership, both marinas will offer Sustainable Bio Yacht Fuel (SBYF) produced by Lootah Biofuels, created from recycled cooking oil sourced from hotels, residences, and Emaar’s integrated developments. This circular process transforms waste oil into marine-grade biofuel, providing yacht owners with a greener fueling alternative conveniently available at their home marinas.

“Sustainability is at the heart of how we operate across our Marinas and Hospitality assets. By introducing Sustainable Bio Yacht Fuel, we are giving our members a tangible, responsible choice that aligns with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 goals, while setting a new standard for eco-innovation in the leisure marine sector," said Nicolas Belleton, of Emaar Hospitality Group.
