TNFD and Collaborators Launch a Global Competition

A collaborative initiative led by the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), Conservation X Labs, and the United Nations Development Programme has launched a global competition seeking technological solutions to assist small and medium-sized enterprises in evaluating their environmental impact. The challenge, which offers a financial award and partnership opportunities, focuses on creating tools that enable businesses to utilize the TNFD's LEAP framework to assess their dependencies on and impacts upon natural ecosystems.
Through this environmental impact tech initiative, TNFD and its collaborators hope to address a perceived gap in the availability of practical resources for smaller companies to understand and manage their relationship with the environment, thereby improving their long-term resilience and contribution to biodiversity.
