Water.org Partners with Major Brands on the Get Blue™ Initiative

The organization Water.org has introduced the Get Blue™ initiative. This endeavor, which is made possible through the collaboration with corporate partners Gap Inc., Amazon, Starbucks, and Ecolab, aims to expand global access to clean water and sanitation.

The Get Blue™ platform leverages commercial engagement, consumer participation, and corporate investment to support Water.org's established financial mechanisms. For example, the organization's WaterCredit program facilitates small loans for household water and sanitation solutions. The initiative encourages "companies across consumer and business- to-business sectors to treat water as a core operating and market issue."

Through the partnership with Gap Inc., Amazon, Starbucks, and Ecolab, Water.org strives to enhance its broader goal of impacting 200 million individuals by the year 2030. Planned consumer-facing activations from the founding companies are scheduled to commence in 2026.
